I’ve never really changed my usual nail extensions size, but right before a party, one of my nails broke off (ugh!). We are all aware of what happens next: out of pure anxiety, the person nibbles the remaining nails clumsily.

Seeing that this is a frequent problem, I’m here to share a nail extension method (also known as How I took out a damaged nail):

Step 1:-

The nail technician cut off my old nail polish, pulled back my cuticles, and polished my nails to remove any last traces of moisture or shine.

Step 2:-

He then placed a plastic extension from the middle of my nails, shaped it to the desired size, and applied UV rays to stick it in place. (I requested an oval-shaped nail extension that wasn’t too lengthy because I didn’t want it to interfere with my daily work.)

Step 3:-

After applying the gel coating, he used a UV lamp to dry it. Keep in mind that once the gel coating is applied, the nail cannot be altered.

Step 4:-

I applied two applications of gel nail polish, curing each one under a UV lamp before applying a final coat. The outcome was shiny nails!

My experience in summary: The entire procedure took one and a half to two hours; the nail technician was very kind and helpful, walking me through each step and providing me with feedback from other clients.

At first, nail extensions can feel somewhat strange. It requires several days to adjust. They are nothing like your real nails at all; you obviously think they seem too plastic-like.

Even simple tasks like opening locks and buttoning garments can become less efficient as a result of them.

Its surface is still rather firm, but I was always concerned about keeping them that way. Additionally, applying pressure to their points causes a little pain.

My nail extensions lasted for twenty-five days until I had to remove one because it was cut on the side. Normally, de-extension requires another visit to the salon, but I figured out how to do it on my own.

The condition of my nails deteriorated the next month, so I chopped them off, necessitating further treatments.

A few more things to consider:

•This is not for you if you have a lot of domestic responsibilities.

•Once completed, it looks quite gorgeous, so you should attempt it if you need to make a statement.

•Unless you are familiar with the procedure, you must return to the salon for de-extension.

•Depending on your natural development pattern, it starts to hurt a little as the nails grow.

• Just like ordinary nail polish, you can reapply colors to your extensions.

•Acclimating to the fake nail extensions on the tip of your natural nail takes a few days.

• Because gel requires fewer chemicals than acrylic, it is a better option for extensions.

•Side-cuts and breakage require the same level of caution.
